Training Times and Venue

From September to March the club trains in age groups in a newly renovated indoor Sports Hall at Richmond Upon Thames School, Twickenham. After Easter, the club trains all together outside at the Lady Eleanor Holles School, Hampton.

Training Times (from September 2025, U10s TBC):

  • Monday: 6.30-9 U15s – Coach: Sarah

  • Tuesday: 6-7.30 U13s – Coach: Linda

  • Tuesday: 7.30-9 U16s – Coach: Emma

  • Wednesday: 5.30-7 U11s – Coach: Alice

  • Thursday: 5.30-7 U12s Coach: Yvette

  • Thursday: 7-8.30 U13s – Coach: Lucy

Meet the Coaches

  • Alice Langrish

    Director of Netball & U10s Coach

    Alice is a Level 2 Qualified Coach and is currently running Whitton Waves Junior Netball Club.

    With over 5 years of experience coaching and 20+ years of playing, being coached by past England Netball coaches, Alice brings a rich and diverse experience into her coaching.

  • Yvette Dixon

    U11s Coach

    Yvette played at club level from age 14 and has gone on to compete at county, regional, national and international levels!

    Having hung up her trainers after the pandemic, she is still umpiring senior leagues and coaching juniors.

    Netball is an important part of Yvette’s life her family’s too. She loves seeing young talent come through and help them be part of a nurturing club, ultimately encourage them to reach their potential.

    Her personal coaching career highlight has been coaching her own daughter, who started at Whitton Juniors and has gone through pathways to become a double international.

  • Linda Koziol

    U12s Coach

    Linda played netball at school and loved trying out all the different positions and since she has played netball all over the country.

    Linda’s love of netball has seen her start her own adult netball club, Teddington Swans, where she is currently coaching a Division 1 team.

    She loves coaching juniors and wants to pass on her passion and enthusiasm for netball to as many girls as possible.

  • Sarah Hanson

    U14s Coach

    Sarah played for Norfolk County and East Region growing up and when she moved to London, she played for Whitton Netball Club Regional team

    A PE teacher with 20 years experience, she was inspired to start coaching by Peta in 2018 and gained her Level 2 shortly after.

    Sarah loves coaching and finds the energy and commitment the girls bring infectious. She wanted to inspire the next generation of netball players, as netball has shaped who she is today and has enabled her to make lifelong friends.

  • Emma Hill

    U15s+U16s Coach

    Emma has been a coach at Whitton since 2020.

    Born in Wales, Emma has played netball since Primary school. She’s represented Glamorgan Valleys County squad throughout secondary school, Welsh Future players development squad and Cardiff & Vale County at inter county tournaments.

    Emma loves seeing the girls develop throughout the season and enjoying netball as much as she does.

  • Lucy Galloway

    U13s Coach

    Lucy has been playing netball for over 30 years. She’s played at school, county, club and represented Dubai for 3 years.

    She started coaching at secondary school to help the younger age groups and has continued to do so.

    Having stopped playing netball for a few years, due to pregnancies and knee surgeries, she has returned to the court and is enjoying it still.

    Lucy also loves swimming, which is another sport she coaches and takes part in!
